Edmund Sandoval grew up in rural Southern Illinois and now lives in Portland, Oregon, where he is studio manager for Firm 151. Prior to 2017, he was lead copywriter and social media director for the fine folks at Grovemade. He has also worked as a farmer, a commercial painter, a cubicle occupant, and as a teacher. He holds an MFA in Writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Writing and Communication from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. His work has appeared in numerous journals including but not limited to Hobart, Nat.Brut, Necessary Fiction, Pithead Chapel, the minnesota review, Fourteen Hills, The Mud Season Review, and The Common.
